Nov. 25, 2006:
At the final PASS South race of the season, Mike Rowe's #24 and Stan
Meserve's #2 once again carried HIGHT Dealership graphics.
Stan's #2 had
a short run in the feature, retiring at lap 10 following a hard hit
into the turn one wall after a tire problem.
Winning the 20 laps Dash for the top nine time-trials gave Mike the
pole for the 250 lap feature. With a strong run to a third place
finish behind Cassius Clark and Johnny Clark, Mike pulled away from
his challengers to take the 2006 PASS South Championship.

Sept. 24,
2006: Corey is helping out two of the Super Late Model
competitors in the big 300 lap PASS North Super Late Model race at
Beech Ridge.
Hight
graphics are on the front fender of the #2 PT Watts machine driven
by Stan Meserve of Mooresville, NC. Corey also helped the Watts crew
out at the PASS Thompson race in July when NASCAR star Jimmy Spencer
of Cornelius, NC drove the #2 to a second place finish. That's Corey
as front tire changer at Thompson in the first shot below. Stan
finished 3rd in Heat #2 at Beech Ridge on Sunday the 24th before the
rains came and moved the rest of the 400 Weekend to Friday and
Saturday, the 29th and 30th.
The #24 of
SP2 Motorsports driven by Mike Rowe from Turner, ME carries the
Hight logo on the hood. Mike ran to a 2nd place finish in Heat #3.
Defending champ of last year's Beech Ridge 300, points leader of the
PASS South Series, and second in points in PASS North, Mike is
really looking forward to this year's extra distance Beech Ridge
event. |
